The Resource Training Center is proud to be working with Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) to provide the Victim Impact Panel (VIP) for people mandated by the court for a DWI/DUI arrest.
If you have been mandated to attend the VIP program, please call us at 718-441-1200 to make an appointment to register. The cost to attend is $100.00 and you must come to our Queens location to register BEFORE attending the course. Payments and registrations will not be accepted the day of the program.

These locations will offer a 6 month day schedule for the full 350 hour CASAC curriculum. 4 out of 5 boroughs! Movin' On Up indeed!
WE'RE-A-MOVIN ON UP!!
The Resource Training Center will be moving to a new location in June of 2010! The Brooklyn Building is located on the same block, and is being built-to-order. The space is HUGE! This is a very exciting time for TRTC! Here Are a couple of photos, we'll post more as the building continues to take shape!

The Resource Training Center Graduation October 23rd 2009
TRTC held our second graduation for 2009! 111 students graduated, many who have already been placed in jobs. That brings our total graduates for 2009 to nearly 200! The ceremony was beautiful and OASAS Commissioner Karen Carpenter-Palumbo and New York State Senator Eric Adams delivered wonderful addresses to the graduates. Watch them below:

Obama Drug Czar Visits TRTC!
On Friday July 10th 2009, Gil Kerlikowske, President Obama's appointed Director of the United States Office of Drug Control Policy visited The Resource Training Center's NYC site. Mr Kerlikowske met with the staff, students and TRTC graduates. Also in attendance were several treatment providers, drug court staff, including Honorable Judge Ferdinand from Brooklyn Treatment Court, and represenatives from OASAS. Mr Kerlikowske was sincerely interested in hearing people's stories of recovery, and expressed a firm belief in drug treatment as an alternative to incarceration. We thanked him graciously for coming, and invited him to bring his "boss" with him anytime!
